Gnomes and other things

If you spied a BLUE GARDEN GNOME in my last post, then you were correct. 10 points for you. Matty and the boys bought it for me for Mother’s Day. Do I have the best family or what? It tickles me to pieces that Matt knows me so well. He loves to make me laugh.

So a blue garden gnome (along with a plethora of flowers for my hanging baskets) was a perfect Mother’s Day gift. The gnomes official job is to watch over the neighborhood. He brings tranquility and peace to all that enter. I think he brings a touch of class as well. It’s hard to even notice anything else when he’s around. A patio set on the sewer? Where?!? I don’t see anything.

A massively huge belly? Hardly noticeable compared to the little blue gnome.

Speaking of that massively huge belly, it’s still hanging around. When I say that I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever, I AM NOT JOKING. Seriously. I have said it before and I’ll say it again: my boys came at 38 weeks. I thought she would come early too. I am still pregnant. I am losing my patience. I have never been 39 (almost 40 weeks) pregnant.

I just expected her to come early. It’s okay. Motherhood is not for wimps. So I buck up and deal and realize that the JOKE IS ON ME. Har, har. Besides, I guess that is what happens when one has a girl. I know that Matt NEVER waits on me for me anything. I am the epitome of punctuality.

Always on time. Never late.

And so we watch and wait some more. We laugh about garden gnomes and make cupcakes for the neighbors.

10 points for us.
